Welcome to Readlio. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Readlio application ("the App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
Readlio is a speed-reading and focus-training app that lets you read PDFs, pasted text, and web articles using an RSVP (Rapid Serial Visual Presentation) reader, track your reading statistics, and (in future versions) practice pronunciation. Readlio currently operates entirely on your device, with no required account and no cloud backend.
You retain all rights to any documents, text, or files you open in Readlio ("Your Content"). We do not claim ownership over Your Content, and — because everything is processed and stored locally — we do not have access to it unless you explicitly export and share it yourself.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to open, read, and process any document you load into the App, including respecting the copyright of any PDF, article, or text you import.

Lite and Premium are each sold at three billing lengths; the tier you get is identical whichever length you choose.
Prices shown in the App are the ones that apply; local currency and tax may differ from the USD figures above.
Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the period ending. You can manage or cancel a subscription in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device; deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
Restoring. Purchases are tied to your Apple ID. Use Restore Purchases in the App to re-apply them on a new device or after a reinstall.
Refunds. Purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's refund policy. We cannot issue refunds directly; requests go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Project Gutenberg texts are in the public domain in the United States; copyright status can differ in other countries and it is your responsibility to comply with the law where you are. Wikipedia content is licensed under CC BY-SA. We do not claim ownership of any of this material.
You are responsible for having the right to read, import, or convert any document you bring into the App yourself.
Readlio is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any reading speed or comprehension results will be achieved.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the App. Because your data is stored locally, we strongly recommend using the built-in export feature to back up anything important to you.
You may delete all locally stored data associated with the App at any time via Settings → Data → Delete My Data, or by uninstalling the App. See our Privacy Policy for details.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time; continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
You may stop using Readlio at any time by uninstalling the App. We may suspend or terminate access to the App for users who violate these Terms.
